Something Old, Something New

I thought I would post something for today and something I posted 4 years ago, on the same day.

5/20/2011 - Friday
I had a great time last night with my friend Janie, who was visiting from the Portland area. She's going to go see Kylie Minogue at the Hollywood Bowl. We went to El Carmen last night on 3rd. The food was great there and with the happy hour prices, a really good deal!

This weekend David and I are going to the Red Bull Soap Box Derby races in downtown LA. I've never been to a soap box race but I'm looking forward to this and I think we'll have a great time.

Sunday we're heading over to Silverlake Jubilee festival in which local bands are playing and there will also be food trucks, which has been a huge deal for at least a year. Maybe end the day with a BBQ? Not sure yet but I'm sure the weather will be great.

Atomic Go Go Dinner Dance

My friend Cindy helped put on an amazing dinner dance on Saturday night for her daughter's school. It was held on the CBS lot and everyone who worked on this set up did an incredible job at putting everything together. We danced late into the night and had a great time. Kudos to Cindy!
