I love the revival theaters!!

Tomorrow evening I am going to see Kurosawa's Seven Samurai at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica. This film is one of my favorite Kurosawa films so I'm really excited about seeing this film on the big screen and dragging (not really) David along with me.

I am in a total love affair with the revival movie houses right now. I love being able to see some of my old favorites up on the big screen and be introduced to some great stuff that I haven't seen. I love when it's a newer clean print but I also love when it's a old scratchy one as well. I love the old concession stands and the old seating and lighting. I'd love to have my own theater someday and this is the closest that I come to the feel of that and it's a great feeling.

Disneyland

On Sunday David B. and I decided to head over to Disneyland to make use of our annual passes. We had a great time but I only wish they had a "No Strollers" day. People nowadays just seem so unaware of their surroundings. They will have their stroller full of kids and junk that they brought or bought and will come to an abrupt halt right in front a fellow patrons path and just be comepletely clueless about it.

Other people exist!
